Virula II: The Government is a continuation of Virula: Renaissance Outlaw. Virula is charged with 3 counts of first degree murder, 1 count of criminal trespass to real property, felon in possession, and felony firearm in connection with murder of two peace officers, and Mr. Fernando, his longtime friend on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at an abandoned house in Southern California. Virula begins serving his prison sentence on February 14, 2016, where he encounters 5 members of an infamous gang called Lost Boys (LBS). Martinez, Morales, Vasquez, Peña, and Santiago teach him prison etiquette, and the laws of The Government, a highly-organized group, that controls every gang in prison, and on the streets of Southern California.

Roy Albert Andrade was first given the gang nickname "Bandit," but later he carried a .22 pistol and was given the moniker "Killer." Andrade became well-known in California's San Fernando Valley, and criminal activity led to his eventual arrest. Virula is inspired by his real-life experiences in and out of prison. Andrade is a graduate of University of Phoenix, and his writing reflects his lifelong interest in books and reading.
