Sinopsis
Fed up with the lack of credentials in an ever growing field of candidates, Democratic hopeful, Senator Adhemar Reyes spouts off on C-Span, “I’m tired of the I can see Russia from my porch candidates! I propose all presidential candidates be required to participate in a reality show to show how they handle crisis situations before we put them in the White House!” Uh-oh. Congress buys onto the idea and Reyes is sucked into the mother of all reality shows, The President Factor. As Reyes and his Republican counterpart tackle the challenges, the TV networks go about misusing the show's footage to satisfy their own political agendas, the slanted cable talk shows ratchet it up a notch and the current president spies on the team from the opposite party. Acerca del autor
Pat Obermeier is an award winning (Emmy, Promax, BDA) creative writer and producer who worked in the cruel and shallow money trench of TV in New York City for close to 20 years. After creating, designing and writing promos, print ads and whatever else they needed by next Thursday for networks from CNBC and CBS News, trekking to New Zealand to create/shoot the opens and launch promos for Jack of All Trades and Cleopatra 2525 for Studios USA, settling back in NYC for the launch a Dick Wolf show, writing assorted oddities/locations for History’s Lost and Found, launching a network for Rainbow Media plus branding NYC's beloved NY1 News and other equally entertaining projects, Pat took a deep breath and left the industry to pursue a career as an author. She is known for her out-of-the-box, humorous, off center yet award-winning approach to projects and the subsequent, almost requisite response of “are you nuts, we can’t say /do/run that!” from a few her less adventurous clients. Drawing on her years in the media, plus a before NYC two year stint in the morass of politics at a network in DC, Pat wrote The President Factor
