ሀተታ ዘ ብሀገቨድ ጊታ ይህ “ሀተታ ዘ ብሀገቨድ ጊታ” ተብሎ የተሰየመው መፅሀፍ የተዘጋጀው፣ የተከበሩት መምህር ሽሪላ ፕራብሁፓድ በኒው ዮርክ ውስጥ ሰጥተውት ከነበረው “የብሀገቨድ ጊታ” ዝነኛ መፅሐፍ ገለፃ የተውጣጣ ነው። ስለ ብሀገቨድ ጊታም መፅሐፍ ቀርቦ የነበረው ገለፃ፣ ልክ እንደ አነስተኛ የእንግሊዘኛ መፅሀፍ ተለይቶ እና ታትሞ “Introduction to Bhagavad Gita” ተብሎ የቀረበ ሆኗል። በዚህም አነስተኛ መፅሐፍ ውስጥ ክቡር ሽሪላ ፕራብሁፓድ ለአንባቢዎቹ ጥልቅ የሆነ እና በጣም ግልፅ የሆነ መግለጫ ስለ ታላቁ የመንፈሳዊ እና የፍልስፍና መፅሐፍ ‒ ስለ “ብሀገቨድ ጊታ” ሀተታውን አቅርበዋል። ይህንንም በእንግሊዘኛ ታትሞ የነበረውን መፅሐፍ አሁን ወደ አማርኛ ተርጉመን ለአንባቢያችን ለማቅረብ በቅትናል። “ብሀገቨድ ጊታ (የዓብዩ ጌታ መዝሙር) መፅሐፍ የሚገልፀው ስለምንድን ነው? የብሀገቨድ ጊታ መፅሐፍ ዋነኛ ዓላማ የሰውን ልጅን ድንቁርና ከተሞላበት የቁሳዊው ዓለም ኑሮ ነፃ ለማውጣት ነው። በምድር ላይ እያንዳንዱ የሕብረተሰብ አካል በተለያየ ዓለማዊ ችግር ውስጥ ተወሳስቦ ይገኛል። በዚህ ዓይነት ችግር ላይ ከወደቁ ሰዎችም መሀከል ስለራሳቸው ትክክለኛ ማንነት እና ለምን ችግር ላይ እንደወደቁ የሚመረምሩ በጣም ጥቂት ናቸው። ሆኖም ግን ለምን ለዚህ ችግር እንደተጋለጡ፣ ከወዴት ወደ እዚህ ዓለም ሕይወት እንደመጡ፣ ከሞትስ በኋላ ወዴት እንደሚሄዱ የሚጠይቁ ሁሉ የዚህ የብሀገቨድ ጊታ መፅሀፍ ዋነኛ እና ትክክለኛ ተማሪዎች ናቸው።”

Acerca del autor
His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (1896-1977), the founder-acharya* of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), was the foremost proponent and teacher of Krishna consciousness―devotional service to the Supreme Person, Krishna―of the late twentieth century. Srila Prabhupada, as he's known to his followers, translated and commented on over eighty volumes of the most important sacred bhakti texts. His books include Bhagavad-gita As It Is―the definitive commentary on Krishna's advice on how to be happy in this life and the next, and the multi-volume Srimad-Bhagavatam―a history of Krishna's activities, His avatars, and His many devotees throughout the universe. Srila Prabhupada also constantly traveled the world, initiating thousands of disciples and managing a global spiritual movement which continues to grow today. When Srila Prabhupada met his own spiritual master, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur in 1922, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta urged the young devotee later known as Srila Prabhupada to preach Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's message of Krishna consciousness in English.
