Reseña del editor

Smooth as silk, more slippery than soap, Kelton MacLeod wants to escape from his girlfriend and the Vietnam Draft. A year's scholarship in Scotland seems just the ticket. In 1969 he returns to St Louis with a pregnant wife in tow, and his career in corporate pharmaceuticals is launched. Boundless ambition propels his meteoric rise, but his glib charm conceals a womaniser with chilling psychopathic traits. Trampling on others comes naturally to him: manipulation and lies make him the boss - and the husband - from hell. But what goes around comes around. Will the long memories of those he has wronged prove his undoing?
