Sinopsis

It’s a story of connection. A story for our times. And a story for the ages. Once there was a man with many troubles. To avoid burdening his family with his woes, one night he chooses to share his troubles with a tree. A tree that stands tall and strong above the town square, and a tree he helped plant as a child. To his surprise and relief, the man feels much better. Unbeknownst to him, he is not alone. What happens next is an inspiring lesson about the power that connection, love, and community can have on all those who seek to find it. A Tree for Troubles is an allegory of many dimensions. The simple poetry of the story is reinforced with elegant illustrations that transport us to what feels like a different yet familiar era and place. We see ourselves, our loved ones, and our neighbors, and that what we have in common is sometimes the most healing salve for all that ails us.
