Sinopsis

Gus Perini, the beloved Basset Hound of Lisa and Tom Perini, announces his first published work, Tails of Perini Ranch. This book takes readers on a tour of Perini Ranch and introduces everyone to his ranch family. One dollar ($1.00) of every book sold benefits Rescue the Animals (rescuetheanimals.org) which aids in improving the lives of animals. Gus Perini is a first-time author. He was born in Abilene, Texas and relocated to the Perini Ranch at 8 weeks of age. His mom, Lisa, is a long time Bassett Hound advocate and his dad, Tom, is now also a passionate hound lover. Gus enjoys visiting the steakhouse, touring the ranch in his Dad’s mule, but especially loves medium rare prime rib and Blue Bell ice cream. The beautiful illustrations in the book are the work of Connie Cutcher Weeks of Austin, TX who is a freelance artist and illustrated the children’s book Ocean Surprises. She and Gus are friends and he knew immediately that she must be the one to paint pictures for his book. Connie is a former public school art teacher who received her Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and a Master’s degree from Hardin Simmons University.
