Edited by New York-based artist and curator James Gallagher, Secret Behavior has a simple focus: human beings and contemporary art. It is a beautifully printed publication that seeks to reveal what might otherwise stay hidden; a publication that intends to sit and stare at truths and experiences that often just vanish. In so doing, Secret Behavior exposes emerging artists, celebrates unrecognized works and honor contemporary masters. It is a magazine full of feelings, flesh, fucking and other normal things. One that celebrates beauty, ugliness, desire, mystery and solitude. That recognizes our common and uncommon mental states, physical forms and sexual experiences. Secret Behavior is an exciting new publication made by human beings, about the dirty, mysterious, beautiful secret that we all share: no matter what happens, we remain human.
