Dr. William H. Cook has served as a senior pastor, a university vice president and professor, as well as a motivational speaker, in the U.S. and internationally. His book Success, Motivation, and the Scriptures was first published in 1974. When Dr. Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, read the original manuscript of Dr. Cook's book, he said, "Business people need to be exposed to the many practical benefits found in this book."

Now titled The Chase, Dr. Cook has revised and updated the manuscript that was originally written for a baby boomer generation.
