The 2nd book in the Set In Stone Medusa Trilogy! Cursed for a crime she didn't commit, Medusa found herself banished as a monster with snakes for hair and eyes that would turn any man that looked at her into stone. Betrayed by those closest to her, her anger drove her to make an example of anyone who crossed her path, seeking to do her harm. The wide reaches of her wrath caused her to be hunted by the mighty Perseus. We all know how that story ends. But, what happened next? Death is only the beginning for Medusa in this continuation. Left without a proper burial, and doomed to spend 100 years on the edge of the underworld, Medusa thought her worries were finally over. In her wake, lives of mortals and immortals alike have been changed forever. Regretful of his part in her demise, Perseus appeals to his father and Zeus, sensing a conspiracy, wants Medusa returned to the land of the living. Medusa must not only face the prospect of returning to the world that killed her, but face the consequences of the hundreds of souls she sent to the depths of Hades. The god of the Underworld, however is reluctant to let her go, so Medusa begins a journey of self discovery, uncovering the secrets of the Afterlife!
