This book s methodology is simple; each chapter includes short lessons in grammar, sentence structure, and mechanics that students work through in preparation for an end-of chapter writing assignment that, in most cases, is based on a personal experience.

Acerca del autor

Elizabeth Weal teaches ESL to adults in Redwood City, CA. She has written seven ESL books that focus on addressing the needs of ESL students who have limited knowledge of grammar in both English and their native language. Writing in English: Step by Step, is her most recent book; she wrote it because of her observation that many of her students lacked basic knowledge about how to construct a paragraph in English. She is also the author of Gramatica del ingles: Paso a paso 1, Gramatica del ingles: Paso a paso 2, English Grammar: Step by Step 1, English Grammar: Step by Step 2, Teaching English: Step by Step 1, and Teaching English: Step by Step 2.
