Sinopsis
Moving, exciting and thought-provoking, A Short Holiday is a collection of short stories, a work of fiction inspired by events real and imagined. The search for identity, emotional and mental misery and conflict, ruthless ambition, shame, freeloading, rude awakenings in marriage, love and compassion are among the themes featured by voices that alternate among the serious, witty, and whimsical. On occasion, readers will be at once eager and reluctant to make an exit, as some of the stories will force them to take a look behind some of the masks that make humans a compelling study.

Acerca del autor
Though she is a rolling stone who has lived in six countries and traveled to countless others, Angela R. Herbert is a Caribbean woman by birth and disposition. She hails from St. Vincent, where she was born, and Barbados, the home of her grandparents, parents, and elder siblings. She is an unrepentant arts buff who prays daily that she would stop buying paintings and carvings as she has long exhausted display space.
