The ride followed byways and sideroads on the north side of the US border, with routes taken to avoid the Trans-Canada Highway wherever possible. Descriptions of each day's travels include routes followed, distance and degree of difficulty, facilities and campgrounds, and tourist attractions. Also included are budget tips, what to take, and information on how to plan such a trip for those who have yet to go. Maps illustrate the way across each province. This book is a travelogue as well as an excellent guide book. The author's previous works include No Problem! Worldwise Travel Tips for Mature Adventurers (Orca Books) and Any Damn Thing (Gomer Press).
