Ragene Henry leads a double life. By day she teaches fifth grade in the small Upper Peninsula town of Gwinn. By night and in summers she is a writer and co-director of the Upper Peninsula Writing Project. Her goal is to share her love of Upper Michigan history with children. Ms. Henry lives in the woods just south of Marquette with her husband Bill where she grows perennial flowers, makes quilts and practices her hammer dulcimer.
