This is an exercise video for teenagers who will be leaving the gymnasium and organized team sport activity of school and making the transition to adult living. Ann Smith teaches a basic class in a style of stretch exercising that can be done individually on your own, with or without variations. It's a slow, continuous stretching from the inside of the body that combines weight bearing exercise, aerobic breathing and isometric control as it maintains a strong, healthy, flexible body.
Four of Ann's grandchildren participate in an unrehearsed class that's divided into 4 sections: Warm Up, Weight Bearing Exercises, Variations and Cool Down. Additional instructional footage has been added to further clarify the exercise for the participants and viewers. The music is classical jazz -- "Ebony Country" by Debbie Denke -- and other short selections.
The message is to "Get Moving" and "Keep Moving" every day so you can live a long, healthy life.
Ann Smith is a dance-trained exercise specialist who does lecture/demos and guest classes throughout the U.S. and Europe. Her other videos are: Stretch Exercise with Ann Smith (also marketed as Stretching for Seniors), Moving to Mozart and Rise and Shine.
