Hot rod was the unwanted name the newspapers gave the roadsters, and all the old jalopies that the young guys drove in the 1930s and 1940s. In spite of the bad press the hot rodders received, hot rodding grew in popularity and the hot rods were continually improved. Hopped-up roadsters quickly became the quickest and fastest cars on the road. Imagination and ingenuity helped to make the modifications that made the hot rods go so fast. Those modifications were usually made with new or used speed equipment plus lots of junk yard parts. The choice of parts depended on the rodder's wallet. Authentic Hot Rods shows what the hot rods were like in the real 'Good Old Days' of hot rodding. Nº de ref. del artículo: SP02-0442-14436
