Soft cover. Condición: Very Good+. 2nd Edition. Uncommon Inscribed copy of the Second Edition of John Gall's celebrated discussion of fundamental characteristics of systems with particular focus on those characters that breed system failure. In what's become known as Gall's Law, Gall observes that attempting to build complex systems from scratch is path leads to failure and that successful complex systems are invariably ones that began as simple systems. This copy is inscribed by John Gall to a previous owner on the dedication page. 319 pages. Third Printing. The system for describing the condition of this book became more complex when the person to whom Gall inscribed it went to work on the title page and inside cover. First he stamped his name and address on the title page, then drew an X through that information. Why the X? There's a compelling glue on the inside cover -- a non-author gift inscription from the inscribee to a second previous owner. Gall's law proven again! Other than inscribee's embellishments -- the condition is described quite simply: minimal of previous use. Signed by Author(s). Nº de ref. del artículo: 014185
