I have just read this book to be daughter who is adopted. She is 5 years old and beginning to ask questions about her story. This book was ideal, she loved it and loved the pictures and characters. I liked how it had humour within it and was about real people and not animals who adopt, it made it more real. I hope there will be a follow up. Well done. --Ellen

Mr. and Mrs. Brown lived in a red brick house with their yellow dog Kelsey and their 2 cats Mia and Purrdy. Mr. and Mrs. Brown had no children and this made them very sad. They would go to bed at night dreaming of having a little boy or girl who could come and live with them. Waiting for you is a lovely, charming story about Mr and Mrs Brown s journey to adopt a child.
