We are unable to get Amazon to remove this old listing (even though we stopped supplying them a long time ago) therefore our only option is to amend this book description! Notice that it is only third parties selling our old (2nd edition) book. Unfortunately we are not able to prevent third parties selling our old/discontinued books but please be warned that many sellers are wrongly selling this item without the accompanying reference booklet (which we always enclosed as part of the package!). There is much reference inside All-In-One to Grade 5 (2nd edition) to the accompanying reference booklet and this book will make little sense without it! Please buy the third edition instead (which can also be found on Amazon) or it can be bought directly from our website at www.aaronpublications.co.uk. Rachel Billings graduated with Honours in music from the University of Manchester in June 2000 followed by an upper division diploma (2001) and postgraduate degreee in performance (piano) at the Royal Northern college of Music in 2003. She was born and brought up in Lincolnshire, but moved to Manchester at age 16 after gaining a place at Chetham's music school where she owes much to the teaching of Nigel Pitceathly. Since then, she has received tuition from internationally acclaimed pianists such as Ronan O'Hora, Murray McLachlan, Stephen Hough, and Paul Janes. Rachel has a wide experience in the fields of chamber music and solo performance and has performed at various venues throughout the UK. Personal tastes range greatly from Bach to Percy Grainger, Poulenc and Scriabin. The first edition of All-In-One is an accumulation of 5 years work which is suitable for any instrumentalist. It has been revised in the current second edition to incorporate the previously separate 'reference booklet for the complete beginner' (in the previous FIRST edition this was sold together with the main book though occasionally fell out at the Amazon depot, as we know some customers unfortunately did not receive it. It could also be purchased separately. Its absence caused understandable confusion because a few people were missing information and Rachel ultimately resolved this problem by writing the second edition). All-In-One to Grade 5 was originally written for the benefit of Rachel's own private pupils but since then has proved very popular amongst weekly lunchtime theory classes taught at a nearby local Girls' grammar school. Rachel has a love for art which has naturally influenced the All-In-One series (which includes no less than 130 illustrations, most of which, importantly, reinforce information learnt rather than being trivial decorations, as the author explains elsewhere on Aaron publications website). Personal favourite artists include Shirley Hughes (author and illustrator) and Salvador Dali. Rachel taught in the North-West until 2013, after which she married and moved to the Midlands. Rachel continues to refine and improve All-In-One and welcomes comments/ feedback about the All-In-One series from either teachers or students (go to www.aaronpublications.co.uk).
