Sinopsis
This is the story of six women of a certain age, close friends and constant companions, who, on a whim, decide to buy a house together, to act as a source of interest and income in their active years, and as sheltered housing for them as they, inevitably, become more infirm. The story of the women, the story of the house, and the author’s wry, witty, idiosyncratic observations on all she sees, make this a book to savor, to linger over, to laugh out loud at, and above all, to share.
