So how do you commit your family history to print so it is more than just a collection of births, deaths and marriages? After all you want the product of all your hard work to be read! When I compiled our own family story in ‘Apple Pies and Welsh Cakes’, I tackled presentation issues and family sequencing problems that had stalled my progress for some considerable time. In the end I came up with a book format which I believe is easy to read, engaging and brings the past to life. It is not just a dusty "never to be read" tome of dry facts.
