For all lovers of English paper piecing, Sew Simple Hexi-flowers brings the craft of sewing over papers, English paper piecing, into the 21st century with more of Karin's superb new techniques. For all lovers of English paper piecing this book uses the hexagon and bishop's mitre paper shapes to make flowers, which are appliquéd to a background fabric. To create even more exciting designs, Karin draws new lines on these traditional shapes. No need to draw templates one at a time and you no longer need to pin your templates to the fabric, or cut the fabric with scissors. Multiple templates can be cut from one tracing. Multiple fabric shapes from one easy rotary cutting. With simple, step-by-step instructions and clear, helpful diagrams and patterns you'll quickly and easily produce your own hexi-flower quilts. Detail instructions on hand appliqué and adding a striped binding. Includes four projects and many more design ideas to guide and inspire you every step of the way.
