This collection of poems, written over a period of four years, charts the rise and fall of a homosexual relationship. The poems explore a range of emotions from joy, through pain, attachment, bewilderment, hurt, and even anger, to care and concern. As we follow the course of this turbulent love affair we begin to see the light of friendship shining stronger until it comes to totally eclipse the neurotic dependence normally characteristic of a romantic love affair. These poems serve as a source of reflection for all those subject to the whims of love, whatever their sexual orientation.
