This new study employs a variety of critical approaches to the poetry of Rodriguez, including discussions of deconstruction, repetition theory, chaos, metaphor, and metonymy. The clarification of etymological roots, cultural references, and equivocal word usage, as well as a description of the structure of each of Rodffguez's five books of poetry, yields a wealth of information and leads to a comprehensive vision of his oeuvre.
