This manual aims to satisfy GCSE (and equivalent) computer studies course requirements, taking full account of the National Criteria. In this edition, more emphasis has been placed on computer applications and practice, and social and economic aspects, than on technical detail. Exercises included in the text have been graded to allow for differential assessment as found in GCSE. The book is on the official reading list of IDPM part II Data Processing II, and is listed in the BCS computer booklist for schools. A lecturer's supplement is available.
