Sinopsis

Part of a series which introduces very young children to the five senses, this book deals with the sense of touch. Using simple text it attempts to describe the different kinds of feelings that can be created by touch, from the softness of a petal to the roughness of bark on a tree. The author is presently the Headteacher of a large primary school at Crickhowell in Powys. She has taught, during her experience, every age group in the primary sector. She has made a speciality of the implementation of the linguistic and literary aspects of the curriculum for Lower Juniors and, as a member of the County Steering Committee, she is responsible for co-ordinating the in-service training of teachers.
