John R. Crowther has extensive experience in working with ELISA. The book reflects his xperience. The graphics and tables are extremely helpful and thoughtfully laid out. All of the ELISA systems are described both in the text and supported by graphical illustrations. Likewise, many of the tables regarding solving problems and troubleshooting are invaluable. Tables summarizing blocking buffers, definitions, and antibody combinations are helpful for quick reference...There is no other book of this kind currently in print. The ELISA Guidebook is essential to libraries at any health science research institution since use of this assay is commonplace across a wide variety of disciplines...This book would be extremely helpful at any immunodiagnostic company that develops ELISAs.
