Acerca del autor

He has written a preface to the book. On the front free endpaper of this copy is Elizabeth Watson's address stamp, ownership initials, and phone number, marking the book as a personal copy. A great find for fans of science; with the help of James Watson's leadership for 35 years (ending in 2007), the private Cold Springs Harbor Lab has distinguished itself as a beacon of research on cancer, neuroscience, plant biology, genomics, and quantitative biology. Very near fine without a dust jacket as issued. Watson writes, in part, "How we can maximize the performance of our individual brains largely remains undiscovered, and I look forward to more Banbury [a conference center at the Lab] gatherings on this topic. In the meanwhile, I play singles tennis with a Wilson racket earlier used by Roger Federer." Watson is a big tennis fan and one-time player.
