Taken by Billingsley (engineering, U. of Southern Queensland, Australia) from a December 2003 conference held in Western Australia, the papers discuss such individual topics as remote laboratories in mechatronics, adaptive control of a manipulator with flexible joints using neural networks, machine vision classification of animals, mechatronic assisted prostate biopsy, and a hovering and flying ornithopter bat robot.
