Sinopsis

A no-holds-barred history of Satanism, from Old Testament lore through to the 21st century. Revised and updated with devilish new material. Macabre media and rock music expert Baddeley charts humanity s darkest faith, Satanism, from its early perversion of Christian rituals and the high-society sinners of the naughty nineties to the great beast Aleister Crowley, and latterly, the black- and death-metal bands who fuel modern anxieties about the occult. Via exclusive candid interviews and sumptuously Satanic stills, Lucifer Rising reveals the beliefs, activities and individuals behind the present-day media panic.
