"Managed Care Risk: Reducing Risk While Increasing Patient Satisfaction" reviews eight different situations in which providers can find themselves in a managed care dilemma. It then describes risk management principles that, when applied to a physician's practice or to a health care system, can not only reduce exposure for a professional liability lawsuit, but increase patient satisfaction and promote managed care.
Biografía del autor
Thomas L. Leaman is chairman of the department of family and community medicine at Hershey and is president of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. His MD degree was awarded by George Washington University. He has been in the continuous practice of family medicine for thirty years.
