This, the first volume in the IVP Dictionary of the OT series is simple a must-have reference for anyone interested in scholarly study of the Pentateuch. At 900 plus pages, it does a good job of covering the topics that most readers would be interested in. Over 80 scholars of different denominational and scholarly backgrounds contributed essays to the volume and the quality throughout is exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone interested in the foundational books of the Old Testament.
