Gary M. Kenyon, PhD, did his doctoral work at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Dr. Kenyon is founder and Chair of the Gerontology Department at St. Thomas University, Fredericton, N.B., Canada, and Honorary Research Associate at the University of New Brunswick. Dr. Kenyon is listed in Who's Who in Canada and America, and in the Dictionary of International Biography. Dr. Kenyon has been a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Linkoping, Sweden. His recent publications include a co-edited special issue of the Aging and Society (1996) and a co-edited special issue of the Journal of Aging Studies (1999). In addition, he has co-authored two volumes: Restorying Our Lives (1997, Praeger), and Ordinary Wisdom: Biographical Aging and the Journey of Life (2001, Praeger).
