The book's subjects include Ringo Starr of the Beatles, Charlie Watts of the Rolling Stones, Levon Helm of The Band and Dino Danelli of the Young Rascals. Max Weinberg holds "Rolling Stone" magazine's Best Drummer Award for 1986.
