JEFFREY R. FIELDS is associate professor of the practice of international relations and director of the Dornsife Washington, D.C., Program at the University of Southern California. Previously, he was a senior adviser with the Department of Defense. He also served as a foreign affairs officer at the State Department in the Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation, and as a research associate at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies and at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

JEFFREY W. KNOPF is a professor and program chair of nonproliferation and terrorism studies at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a senior research associate with the institute’s James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies.

MARIA ROST RUBLEE is a lecturer at the University of Auckland and a former intelligence officer in the Defense Intelligence Agency.

JASON ENIA is an assistant professor of political science at Sam Houston State University. His research has appeared in The Social Science Journal, The Nonproliferation Review, Review of International Studies, and Negotiation Journal.
