Dr. Joseph Harris, author of the "Get Ready!" books for Grades 1, 2, and 4, holds a Ph.D. in psychology from the Graduate Training Program in School Psychology at the University of South Carolina. He is an adjunct professor in psychology at Converse College.Carol Turkington, series editor, specializes in developmental psychology. Her articles on parenting and health have appeared in "Parents", "Psychology Today", and the "New York Times".
