The topic of emotion has been conspicuously absent from most texts on organizing and organizational behaviour. This groundbreaking book is the first to redress this imbalance by bringing together a range of contributions that clearly demonstrate how analysis of emotion must be part of any convincing theory of organization.

The introduction explores the ways in which issues of emotion permeate central themes of organizational analysis, such as language, culture, identity, power and control.
