Jacques Derrida whose works published by the University of Nebraska Press are listed below, is directeur d'etudes at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris, and holds visiting appointments at the University of California Irvine, and the City University of New York. Ned Lukacher discusses Derrida's concerns in his introduction, "Mourning Becomes Telepathy." The author of Primal Scenes: Literature, Philosophy Psychoanalysis (1986), he teaches the history of literary criticism in the English Department at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
