In this book, originally published in 1929, Bulgakov explores the doctrine of angels and their importance for contemporary humanity. Sergius Bulgakov (1871-1944) is widely regarded as the twentieth century's leading Orthodox theologian. His other books include The Philosophy of Economy, The Unfading Light, The Friend of the Bridegroom, The Burning Bush, The Lamb of God, and The Comforter.
