He sees Isaiah as addressed to the social, historical situation not only of its own day but of this day as well, with significance for Jews and Muslims as well as Christians — "a book meant for all who come after."

Biografía del autor

Knight has taught Old Testament studies and Semitic languages at various schools around the world and has served as coeditor of the International Theological Commentary series.

Holmgren is Professor of Biblical Literature, North Park Theological Seminary, Chicago, IL.
