This new series aims to address the questions and concerns of two of the most important events of modern life--the tragedy of 9/11 and the shock and awe of the second Gulf War. Each volume analyzes key aspects of political, cultural, and economic issues in the Iraq conflict through the essays of foreign policy experts, theorists, and first hand witnesses. Eleven original essays explore the impact of the Iraq War on young adults. Questions addressed include how has the war has shaken our sense of security, fairness, and predictability? What are the major positions of those parties who are either for or against the war? How can the United States and the world move on and achieve a design for living that might someday leave war behind?
