The nationally recognized credit-by-exam DSST program helps students earn college credits for learning acquired outside the traditional classroom-learning from on-the-job training, reading, or independent study. Approximately 50,000 students took a DSST last year-more than 50% of whom were funded by the military. Nearly 2,000 U.S. colleges and universities recognize the DSST program and award college credit for passing scores. Peterson's Official Guide to Mastering the DSST Exams is endorsed by Prometric, the DSST program provider, which found this study guide to be an excellent reflection of the content of the respective DSST tests.

Biografía del autor

Foreword is by Sandra Reed, Former Dean of Graduate Studies at Savannah College of Art and Design. Reed grew up in Iowa. She received a full scholarship to attend Drake University, where she received her B.F.A. in painting and drawing. She earned the M.F.A. in painting from The George Washington University as the first Morris Louis Fellow in Painting. She taught at academic institution's Resident Associate Program, prior to moving to Savannah in 1993 to teach at the Savannah College Art and Design. She lives with her husband, John Spurlock, a painter and printmaker, in Savannah, Georgia.
