Decade Days takes students on an intriguing journey to discover what it was like to live in America during each decade of the 20th century. A complete, year-long social studies curriculum, Decade Days challenges middle and high school students to explore important events, social trends, and value systems using research techniques such as interviews, the Internet, almanacs, and more. And as students are introduced to the past, they will develop important research, writing, presentation, and critical thinking skills. Each unit culminates with a Decade Day class celebration, including activities, foods, games, and costumes.
