Sinopsis

Designed for undergraduate nursing students, this text makes nursing theory accessible, meaningful, and enjoyable! Understanding the Work of Nurse Theorists helps students understand the work of 17 prominent scholars by presenting the difficult concepts of nursing theory through art. The use of art as a teaching methodology translates Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences into nursing students' everday practice. Students enrich their mastery of nursing as they learn to employ kinesthetic skill mastery, pattern recognition, artful observation, and naturalistic inquiry.
