I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior when I was eight years old and grew up going to church every Sunday. I learned about missions and the need to tell the world about God's love for everyone and I sang in the choir. In my teens I began to teach young children about Jesus in a primary Sunday school class. This helped me to study God's Word and I loved reading and telling children Bible stories. Though I was active in the church, I would often lose my zeal for the Lord. It was not until 1986, when a doctor found I had a grapefruit size tumor, that I told God He had my full attention and if I came through surgery I would completely serve Him and stop making excuses for not going and sharing His love with others. While in Cuba, East Germany, Russia, Ukraine, and the Crimea, God has continued to lead me as I participated in street ministry and discipleship training. It has been a joy these past nine years encouraging new believers and children on the mission field. Looking back, the last three years have been unbelievably fulfilling as I have experienced the intimacy of my relationship with my Creator grow as I read His Word and discovered His many wonderful names though my studies. As a wife of thirty-one years and a mother of two wonderful children, I am excited to share this book with my husband and my children along with the many friends and prayer partners who have supported me in this work.
