The papers focus on applications and issues rather than hardware (although this is covered) and are reworked from presentations given at the 1992 Perth International Symposium on Interactive Multimedia. The book is organized around the themes of developing interactive multimedia courseware and networks, research foundations for interactive multimedia, multimedia technology, education and training for interactive multimedia and future directions in interactive multimedia.
