Each course comprises two parts: Level 1 (Foundation Level) is a beginner's course, teaching the basics of French, Spanish and German up to GCSE level. Students practise essential skills, such as making telephone calls, letter-writing, translating and summarising. Level 2 (Development Level) can be used as a continuation of the course. Students are trained in areas of business including: applying for jobs, dealing with quotes and preparing for a business trip. The Coursebook is suitable for use with groups, individuals with tutorial support or as core material for a supported self-study course. Chapters are graded structurally with each focusing upon a particular theme. Includes a wide range of learning activities with up-to-date and authentic materials. Recorded material is available on the Cassette, with transcripts provided at the end of the book, together with a glossary of grammatical terms and lists of irregular verbs and vocabulary.
