Ten years ago there were almost no computers in Scottish schools. Now there are over 10,000. This book gives an independent reflection on what that massive expansion has meant. A team of practitioners reviews the last decade and suggest policy alternatives for the 1990s. Amongst other topics they examine the National Plan, TVEI, management and leadership of policy, primary and secondary school computing, teacher education, IT in all areas of the curriculum and the development of Computing Studies.
