Reseña del editor

In a nation that is rapidly continuing to diversify, the ability to effectively interact with people different from oneself is crucial, and is considered to be a huge asset to hiring employees. To prepare students toward becoming more culturally competent by equipping them with the necessary skills to work effectively with others in today's diverse society, it is important for educators to learn what motivates students to invest their time in cultural excursions, and what proves to be successful teaching practices.
The purpose of this book is to examine how cultural learning among college students can be effectively facilitated to encourage them to venture out of their comfort zone by engaging with others who differ from themselves.
