Descripción (Hardcover, 1975). 1975 1st edition. 8vo (138 x 222mm). Pp185. B/w line illustrations by Jim Randell. Blue boards, spine titled in gilt. Rather browned & used - good-plus in used price-clipped dust-wrapper. Match angler and former World Champion, Billy Lane, gives a detailed account of his approach to freshwater fishing. "The whole approach adopted is based on straight commonsense, which sometimes involves the dismissal of what can only be described as angling fallacies. One of the great delights of this book is the author's ability to convey a wealth of technical information in an informal, highly readable style. There are frequent accounts of specific fishing expeditions and encounters which not only illustrate the points in question superbly, but are often highly entertaining in themselves." A chapter each on roach, tench, reservoir trout, bream, chub, salmon, pike, barbel, 'tiddler snatching', and perch. . Nº de ref. del artículo: 37770
