Len Arbery, a leading big-fish angler, reveals many of the secrets of his success, such as where in the river big fish are likely to be found, what baits to use and the importance of bite detection in varying conditions. He also describes effective techniques and recent tackle innovations. Ecological issues are raised and discussed, such as the conservation work being carried out on one of the best-known stretches of the Hampshire Avon.
